Usually researching, thinking about your mortality or risk, and discussing life insurance with your family is not easy to think about and take action. For many people it is common to procrastinate by delaying or never purchasing insurance. Some of these reasons include not feeling they might qualify due to heath reasons, be able to afford, see value/need/want. They may not have a relationship with an agent or know where to go. It can be simple as; they just don’t want to deal with a pushy life insurance agent. To complicate the process, there are so many ways to purchase insurance and decisions to make.
You can buy through a Captive agent selling life insurance. Captive means working for one company. Insurance is not all sizes fits one or there is just one flavor to pick from. Taking a cookie cutter approach can work for some people but not always is the best method for obtaining insurance. This can be limiting your options for your needs. The company might be a captive agent selling auto, home and life insurance. They are very good with their auto and homeowners’ policies but not always the most competitive or be able to get you insurance if you have a specific health condition(s). They aren’t specializing in life insurance since they are focusing on other insurance means. Therefore, they might not be able to dedicate the time and have extensive resources for your life insurance needs.
Another popular way to obtain life insurance is through a call center. The call center might not be captive and can represent different companies. Call centers are handling a lot of volume, and you are usually considered as just a number or transaction. For this reason, it is difficult for call centers to spend much time with you and provide service that will focus on your exact needs.
When you are dealing with the above options of purchasing insurance your needs might not always come first. These agents have sales quotas to meet and bonus incentives. We even have a link on the website to apply and have the policy emailed to you with no insurance agent interaction or involvement. Of course, we are always here to answer any of your questions and provide service.

Rick Rosensweig
Richard Rosensweig has been licensed with the California Department of Insurance since 1999. He has BA in Psychology from Chapman University. He is licensed in many other states as well. He has experience working in various call centers selling Life insurance.
Richard (Rick) has also worked with different captive companies and just representing one life insurance company. He has been a top performing agent within the call center environment and as a captive agent. He felt he was missing something as a captive agent and working in call centers. With his philosophy, experience and core values, he felt being an independent insurance representative would be the best fit to provide his clients the best options.
Being independent is so rewarding to him and he loves helping people, families and businesses. This is especially true, when somebody can’t get approved, or they receive a higher rate. He enjoys being a representative that is determined to assist in receiving the best rate and fit for his clients.
Outside of his profession, Rick is a family man. He is a proud Dad and Husband. He is a dog lover and has a Jack Russel mix. He loves family day trips, the beach, cooking, Sushi, comedy and working out. He is patient, a good listener, genuine and caring.
